Invasive Plant Treatment
We treat a wide variety of invasive plants, both terrestrial and aquatic emergent. Our goal is to work with landowners to achieve long term control of invasives, while retaining and restoring native vegetation.
Habitat Improvement/Creation
Expanding from our core work of invasive plant treatment, we have gotten into several different habitat improvement projects. Most of our habitat work is in the following areas: Pre-commercial forest thinning, species designation, crop-tree releasing, early successional habitat, brush pile/small mammal dens, snag tree creation, small scale native tree/shrub planting. All of our habitat work is done by hand, utilizing chainsaws, brush cutters, and selective herbicide applications if necessary.
Surveying, Mapping, and Monitoring
Having a complete knowledge of the land is crucial to prescribing any sort of management. We can conduct specific surveys and mapping for invasive species (from well-established to watchlist), rare/endangered species, and locations for habitat improvement.
